Great for Catching
PANFISH, TROUT, CRAPPIE, & PERCH
Mousie Flies:
Our Mousie (Ice) Flies comes in size 14 with a gold tungsten bead for appearance and weight which it weighs in at 1/100oz . They resemble the real life like mousie bait you buy for ice fishing also known as the Drone Fly Larva. They work great for panfish (Bream), perch, trout, crappies, and even for salmon. This is the ultimate Fly for Fly Fishing, Spin cast Fishing, and Ice fishing.
For Glow in The Dark Mousie Flies:
Use a UV Black light to get the brightest longest charge. The longer you charge the fly the brighter and longer it will glow.
For Fly fishing:
They work best below a float or large dry fly just drifting in the current, or just drifting it by itself in the current on the bottom or just below the surface.
For Spin Cast fishing:
they work best below a float 1 to 2 feet below the surface on calm water or with a slight current. for vertical jigging with light line let it drop slowly like a natural presentation or bounce it off the bottom with some added weight.
For Ice fishing:
They work best either rapid jigging then let them sit for a minute or slow rise and slow jigging method through the ice. Depending on depth and if any current you may want to add some weight.
