1 Last Cast Lures couldn’t launch a spinner and buzz bait line with out adding one of our signature marks to the line up. These spinner baits right here are our GIT Dark style. These will work best just below or at sun rise, they will also work great in early evening and at sunset or just after. They will also increase strikes during Heavy cloud cover or during the day on a tough bite. Photos are in order glow photo first behind that is the spinner bait how it looks in regular light.
1 Last Cast Lures started with only a 30" x 42" table and a total of around 20 square foot operation. We have now expanded to 152 square foot operation with our large table now running all the lure and fly making operations. we have a full painting table for all the jig heads and ice jigs to be painted. we are also working on starting to make our own style ice jigs. Thank you to all our great customers we have been able to expand and bring more fly tying materials and fishing lures to our customers.

So with all this rain over the summer. We have not had an opportunity to get out on the water much to fish. However we have taken the time to tie new lures and bring on a lot more glow in the dark fly tying materials. We are aware we are behind on our website bringing all our new product up onto the website. This fall we hope to have everything up on the website. We are also looking at offering new domestic shipping prices for our customers. Thanks again to all our customers for your business and always good luck fishing.
So I just read the DEC fishing hotline and there is no safe ice yet. So maybe by January 11th we will be able to go ice fishing
Ahh the freezing air in my nostrals the chillin breeze of below freezing temperature the winter smelling air I can smell the lakes wanting to freeze the land to shore edge the snow wanting lightly slowly dropping inch after inch of beautiful white fluffy snow and I'm going to be on the ice once its here fishing it
Due to the hot weather and lack of rain the water levels are very low and there the water is pretty clear. Use a small lure or soft plastic bait tip with a worm to go after big game fish towards the bottom. For trolling use a small lure like 1/32 oz or smaller and run a 2 foot leader of line then apply your weight it will get you down far enough so they will see it and grab it. We will have hand tied lures and soft plastic baits in those size at our upcoming show see our home page for details.
So I stopped at the Erie canal this evening to try a new lure I tied and it wasn't working that well so switched to a buck tail that I'm starting to produce and hopefully have it up on the website soon. When all of a sudden the line went tight and I set the hook and pulled in this huge black crappie the largest one I have ever caught. Here is a photo of it for you guys and girls to see.
it makes for a hard time to do any fishing really, the fish can't decide to stay deep or go shallow. so what do you do, get the poles cleaned up put new line on them, oil and grease them. then start weeding out the or tackle out of the box salvage the jig heads off some of your old ratty plastics and stocl up for trout season then walleye and then bass and if we are lucky it might be above 45 degrees by june. thanks again to all our customers at the craft show
there is no ice and the ice that was there wasn't there for long. so if you got to get out and do some ice fishing that is awesome. Otherwise I guess we are all waiting for April to roll in for trout season to open then we will be back in the water fishing hard waiting for walleye season to open. and then when bass season comes around you will be for sure in shorts and t shirts
Designing & Tying new Lures, then fishing them hard.
